About The Position

The Security team member at Live Nation is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the venue premises. This role involves monitoring guests and employees, preventing theft and violence, and maintaining order during events. The position requires a proactive approach to security, including patrolling the venue, operating security equipment, and responding to incidents as they arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Good working knowledge of security operations and safety practices in a business environment.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and make independent decisions within policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+, and occasional sitting.

Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Circulate among guests and employees to preserve safety and protect venue property.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and guests to maintain security.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment damage or theft.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
• Partner with fellow crew members to close the venue after shows, including collecting recyclables and checking bathrooms.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
