The position involves promoting an outgoing, friendly customer-oriented personality at all times. The individual will provide basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees, and the company. The role requires the ability to stand/walk for long periods, climb steps, respond to emergency situations, and handle basic duties and responsibilities of the position. The individual may perform the Security Dispatch function if needed and is responsible for training, observing, and documenting the knowledge and proficiency of new Security Officers on the casino floor as part of the onboarding process. Patience, strong interpersonal communication, and documentation skills are essential. The individual may also assist in completing special projects as assigned by the Shift Manager or Director of Security.
