The position will be statewide. Characteristics of the Job: Performs technical work in the field of electronics and/or electronic component systems; and performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Associates degree
  • Must have and maintain a valid Kentucky driver’s license.
  • High school diploma & 2 years job related experience

Responsibilities

  • Recommends appropriate procedures to correct performance of electronic equipment.
  • Makes bench repairs to electronic equipment.
  • Attends training courses and programs designed to provide specialized knowledge in electronics.
  • Maintains technical records and reports of maintenance and repairs.
  • Interprets blueprints and schematics.
  • Performs electronic security installation and maintain orders.
  • Maintain security level standards as identified.
  • Maintain records showing status and repair.
  • Other duties as assigned.
