About The Position

Autoliv's primary goal is to Save More Lives by increasing vehicle safety through the development of seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels, with an uncompromising commitment to quality. As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for the physical security of Autoliv property and employees, as well as providing initial medical treatment for injuries and illnesses on site. Key duties include monitoring camera surveillance, fire panels, and access control, assisting HR with terminations, responding to and investigating security incidents, and conducting security patrols. The role also requires maintaining EMT certification, providing first responder medical care, keeping records of treatments, and performing drug screens while adhering to strict chain of command protocols. Requirements

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid Utah EMT Certification or currently obtaining EMT Certification

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for physical security of Autoliv Property and employees.
  • Responsible for the initial medical treatment of injuries and illnesses of employees and contractors working on our property.
  • Monitoring of camera surveillance, fire panel, and Access control.
  • Assist HR with terminations and other needs as necessary.
  • Responds to, controls, and investigates security incidents.
  • Conducts security patrols of buildings and property.
  • Maintains state basic EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) certification and provides first responder/emergency responder medical care.
  • Maintains record of persons treated and prepares accident reports.
  • Performs drug screens and processes samples maintaining strict chain of command protocol.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
