The Security and Privacy Technical Program Management team is a force multiplier for the security organization; we partner closely with engineering and product teams across Netflix to deliver impactful and scalable security initiatives. These initiatives are highly visible and cross-functional, requiring technical thought leadership throughout Netflix’s engineering and product organizations. We collaborate with leaders inside and outside the organization to align on strategic goals and vision to further the security roadmaps for our partnering teams in a business driven way. We engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, product managers, engineering managers, and developers, to establish and drive initiatives that make a significant impact. We are looking for a Security Technical Program Managment intern who will be focused on large cross-functional programs that impact almost all of engineering at Netflix. We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

Requirements

  • Current student pursuing an Undergrad or Graduate (preferred) degree in a technical field (ie. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering) with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027
  • Proficient in program management, ensuring milestones are achieved, key results are delivered, and status updates are effectively communicated to the manager.
  • Broad experiences with multiple technical skills across different technologies, with experience writing code and contributing to open source projects
  • Knowledge of foundational concepts in identity and access management, cloud infrastructure security, third party risk or security in general.
  • Basic intermediate proficiency with Python, Java, SQL or Node (at least 2 preferred)
  • Outstanding people skills, partnerships, cross-functional relationships
