About The Position

The Intelligence Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Security Task Lead to work in our Linthicum, MD location. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping maintain customer mission security. In this mission we provide comprehensive operational, analytical, technical, forensic, and program management support. Primary Responsibilities In your role as the Security Task Lead, you focus on maintaining the security of customer facilities and data, including Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), by controlling access to facilities and other resources, conducting regular inspections and vulnerability assessments, managing uncleared personnel, supervising/coordinating investigations. You ensure compliance with security regulations and protect classified information through monitoring and adherence to established procedures. You review and maintain security programs, including Industrial, Physical, Personnel, Information and Data Security to maintain compliance with DoW/DoD, Military Service, and customer policies. Your duties require you to review customer staff records as needed to ensure compliance with DoW/DoD, Military Service, Privacy Act, HIPAA, and personnel security policies. You coordinate with Government and contractor personnel for security clearance eligibility, background and incident investigations, security awareness training, OPSEC, and COOP.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance eligible
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and 10+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 8+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
  • Three years’ experience within the last ten years managing a Security program involving responsibility for physical, personnel, and data security, including TS/SCI data and a SCIF

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing for a Military Service Organization, DoD/DoW, and/or Federal Facility/Agency
