About The Position

SAGE Integration is a security technology integrator protecting the people, facilities, and reputation of enterprise clients.  We bring integrated solutions, intelligence, and analytics through a consultative process of understanding risks and aligning on strategic priorities to help clients navigate the growing and changing advancements in technology.  We have over 30 years of experience and relationships in the industry, with a growing national footprint.  Our team is built on empowerment and trust, which allows us to effectively serve our clients and set the standard for security technology integrators.  The VMS Technician manages the video management system for a client including, but not limited to, bringing new sites online, registering devices, sending service technicians out to repair equipment issues detected by the VMS, and providing support to field technicians as needed. The successful candidate for this position will be self-motivated with a professional attitude and have good communication skills and is a team player.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and have excellent follow-up skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
  • Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and keep secure confidential information
  • Experience in similar position in the security technologies field a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience in ticketing systems
  • Experience with IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, and IP Networking
  • Have or willing to obtain Manufacturer Certifications in security technology platforms; such as MaxPro, Honeywell, Prowatch, Flir, Axis

Responsibilities

  • Set up and bring online NVRs/cameras for new sites into video management system
  • Troubleshooting, problem resolution, repair, and phone support for field technicians
  • Create IP addresses
  • Install upgrades
  • Provide customer support
  • Other duties as the business and client needs arise
