As a Security Systems Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our integrated security systems within these buildings. Your responsibilities will encompass the installation, programming, start-up, and commissioning of advanced security systems, including CCTV or IP cameras, alarm sensors, access control devices, and associated software platforms. This position is not just about technical skills; it is about being the face of Siemens, interacting with customers to ensure their safety and satisfaction with our systems. In this role, you will participate in operational testing, verification, and acceptance of security systems. This includes running routine reports to assess system operations, conducting final inspections, and supporting customer acceptance processes. You will also assist in training customers on system operations and complete necessary documentation, including routine written reports. Your ability to identify code and non-conformance issues will be crucial in making recommendations for system installations. Collaboration is key in this position. You will work closely with your mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader to plan your work effectively. Timely completion of commissioning tasks is essential, and you will be expected to submit accurate time and expense logs. Flexibility is important, as you may need to work overtime and accommodate out-of-state overnight travel, primarily within the Southeast region. Your expertise will not only contribute to the safety of our customers but also enhance your professional growth within a supportive and diverse team environment.
