About The Position

Imperative Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Integrator to install complex technical security systems in government facilities. Position Overview: The Technical Security Systems Integrator shall perform configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of networked Technical Security Systems (TSS) in a production environment to include: Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Emergency Notification Systems (ENS), Automated Access Control Systems (AACS), Closed Circuit Television/Surveillance Systems (CCTV), Video Management Systems (VMS), Environmental/Power Monitoring Systems, and Layer 2/3 Network Appliances (Routers, Switches, Firewalls). The Systems Integrator shall integrate all systems to provide situational awareness to the end user using the Physical Security Information Management System (PSIM). Additionally, the Systems Integrator shall perform the following:

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with integration/configuration of Technical Security Systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field (may be substituted with 5 or more years of relative integration experience and 2 or more relevant certifications)
  • The candidate must be a US citizen and have a minimum of a Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.
  • The government is requiring significant medical screening/examinations/testing for this position. Candidates will receive a contingent offer based on successful completion of government medical requirements.
  • Physical requirements include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite training to end users on all integrated systems
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and assistance to end users
  • Adhere to standards and commissioning procedures
  • Understand and follow project designs/schematics
  • Complete required project documentation and ensure project as-builts are accurate
