About The Position

We are a Security Systems and Life Safety solutions company. The identified candidate will engineer and design commercial electronic security solutions. Some of these solutions may include alarm/intrusion, CCTV, access control, paging, intercom, audio/video, and fire systems. Engineers work collaboratively with technicians, project managers, sales, and other professionals to design and specify solutions to meet and exceed client expectation

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with electronic security, fire alarm
• Ability to read/understand CAD Drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills and software aptitude.
• Must be highly organized with demonstrated success managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with sales and project management to engineer and develop system designs, proposals, and estimates.
• Work collaboratively with the CAD department to ensure accurate and detailed drawings.
• Work collaboratively with the technical services group to ensure technical functionality of the proposed solution.
• Work with vendors and their technical support departments to design solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Prioritize engineering tasks to meet workload demands effectively and efficiently.
