To provide part time security at Gateway Church. The candidate is expected to have Gateway Church values; be both relational and observant, and balance their duties between the attributes of grace and discernment. Provide security at all Gateway Church venues and events. Possess ethical attributes that are above reproach. Possesses Christian values Teachable and Humble Spirit Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to relate and communicate with the public, staff, volunteers, and local law enforcement officials Professional appearance and attitude Excellent physical condition (ability to pass a physical agility test) Ability to effectively balance between the attributes of grace and discernment Punctual to all assignments. Resourceful – knows how to address inquiries and has the ability to direct to the proper authority, if necessary Excellent report writing skills Professional attitude emphasizing reliability, integrity, team building and the willingness to work as necessary to get the job done. Deal effectively with complex issues; striving for a comprehensive approach to reach effective outcomes. Maintains communication with supervisors, pastoral staff, group leaders, volunteers, customers, and ministry teams. Turn in all required paperwork at established deadlines. Support Gateway, your department, supervisor and fellow staff at all times. Good customer service and communication skills High School Diploma or GED. Possesses Level 2 & 3 security licenses; or meets the requirements and can attain certification. In addition, all candidates for Security Support and other designated Security positions at Gateway Church must meet the following qualifications: Must be able to submit and pass drug and/or alcohol screen, and submit to random drug/alcohol testing. Must be able to successfully complete range qualification. Must be able to pass a Physical Agility Test (PAT), which can include but is not limited too: running, walking, squats, push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, carrying of weight (50lbs+), pulling of weight 175 lbs.+, sprinting, etc.
