Job Description : Work under general direction and guidance within standard processes to manage security processes essential for classified facility operations primarily focused on document control including identification, marking, accounting, shipping or movement, and destruction of classified material IAW 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoDM 5200.01. Assists in developing Security Education, Training and Awareness briefing materials; track completion data and maintain training records of employees. Maintains records and archiving security relevant information. Manages multiple tasks and coordinate activities within deadlines. Essential Functions: Transmission and preparation of classified material to include package preparation, authoring transportation plans, providing courier guidance and training to internal employees, and maintaining inventory/control of classified material in storage. COMSEC Responsible Officer: Maintain NSA COMSEC account; perform custodian duties. Research and implement National and Department of Defense security regulations, maintaining knowledge, and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements. Ability to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures with contacts inside and outside own team. Recognize and report security violations and prepare reports. Able to specify prevention actions to be taken.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Active Secret US Security Clearance Preferred

Practical knowledge of job area including 32 CFR 117, DoD 5200, and any relevant regulations.
