About The Position

The Security Supervisor supervises Security Officers, investigates security incidents that require immediate attention and decision as well as patrols and assists Security Officers in certain situations. Processes roll calls, assigns post to officers on a daily basis. Carries out out security functions as directed by the Security Manager, Assistant Director of Security and Director of Security. Performs other duties related thereto. The end results are to insure that tranquility prevails in the hospital and that patients, visitors, employees and property of those persons likewise, and the Medical Center are protected against danger and theft.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
One - three years of security/management is required, law enforcement experience is preferred
Valid NYS Valid Security License required
CPR/AED Certification is required
Knowledge of Security Radios, Microsoft Office, Aware Manager

Nice To Haves

Valid NYS Drivers License is preferred
law enforcement experience is preferred
