Position Overview United Protective Services is seeking a strong, professional Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at Decorative Center Houston, a high-profile commercial property with professional tenants, showrooms, and event activity. This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage officers, maintain client relationships, enforce post orders, and ensure all reporting and patrol activity is completed accurately through VisionInsite (VI).

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years security experience required
Strong report writing and communication skills
Comfortable using security reporting systems (VisionInsite experience preferred)
Ability to walk patrols, climb stairs, and work both indoors and outdoors
Professional appearance and customer service mindset
Reliable attendance and strong accountability

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
Commercial property or high-rise experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and support security officers assigned to the site
Ensure compliance with all post orders, policies, and procedures
Conduct regular patrols of building, garage, loading dock, and exterior areas
Oversee opening and closing procedures
Maintain key control and access control standards
Monitor security cameras and respond to incidents or emergencies
Ensure all patrols, inspections, and incidents are documented in VisionInsite (VI)
Train new officers on site-specific procedures and expectations
Perform quality control checks on officer performance and reporting
Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and vendors
Assist with event security coordination when required
Address safety concerns and escalate issues appropriately
