About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Evening/Night shift. Hours are from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am Monday through Friday with an on-call weekend rotation schedule. You will work at the East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. Be part of something remarkable Play a critical role in keeping patients, visitors and staff safe at the #1 hospital in Wisconsin. We are seeking a Security Supervisor to: Supervise, assign and evaluate the activities of shift personnel, ensuring adherence to department and UW Health policies and procedures. Plan daily assignments and conduct daily briefings for security operations. Assess shift personnel and equipment needs. Assist with shift operations as needed. Cover as supervisor at University Hospital as needed. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• 2 years relevant work-related experience Required
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License Required
• Completion of IAHSS Supervisor Certification within 6 months Required
• Must be 21 years of age to drive UW Health Fleet vehicle and must be 25 years of age to drive a UW Health vehicle rated for 15 or more passengers.
• Ability to be insured by Hospital’s risk management insurer which requires a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and successfully passing a driving background check

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in related field Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in related field Preferred
• 5 years hospital security/supervision experience Preferred
