The Security Supervisor is responsible for asset protection, theft, and fraud. This role leads and executes theft mitigation strategy designed to reduce the number of theft and fraud incidents. It creates and maintains a safe club environment through the execution of theft deterrence strategies, member engagement, and delivery of physical security standards. The supervisor supports the Front End Manager with training and development of Member Experience Ambassadors and partners with RAPM and Home Office on the execution of 3rd party guard deployment. They also monitor and execute all company asset protection programs.

Requirements

  • Prior Law Enforcement, asset protection, safety, and/or inventory control experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results.
  • Open shift availability.
  • At least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree and/or big box wholesale, retail, grocery and/or management experience.
  • Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for asset protection, theft, and fraud mitigation strategies.
  • Leads and executes theft mitigation strategies designed to reduce incidents.
  • Creates and maintains a safe club environment through theft deterrence strategies, member engagement, and delivery of physical security standards.
  • Supports Front End Manager with training and development of Member Experience Ambassadors.
  • Partners with RAPM and Home Office on 3rd party guard deployment.
  • Monitors and executes all company asset protection programs.
  • Analyzes business data, current and prior shrink results, and theft trends to inform decision-making and train teams on suspicious behaviors.
  • Models leadership competencies, communicates effectively, and builds high-performing, collaborative teams.
  • Provides honest and timely direction, follow-up, and feedback to drive business results and team member engagement.
  • Executes business expectations within expected timeframes by setting clear expectations and ensuring accountability.
  • Teaches, coaches, and leads through the club-level training process, ensuring application of policies, procedures, and compliance.

  • Leads teams to deliver GOLD club standards daily (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate; Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean).
  • Maintains company merchandise protection program and monitors the lockup cage, ensuring it is clean and organized.
  • Ensures Member Experience Ambassadors are trained and knowledgeable in recent theft trends.
  • Acquires deep knowledge of key metrics and reporting for total club and department performance.
  • Identifies theft activity and develops a plan to mitigate before it negatively impacts the club.
  • Communicates the connection between consistent operational performance and achieving club financial targets.
  • Develops and teaches company asset protection programs and initiatives.
  • Investigates results from inventory count programs to identify theft activity.
  • Executes Asset Protection Routines as outlined in the Asset Protection Supervisor Calendar pertaining to theft and fraud.
  • Executes merchandise protection standards focused on current club theft trends.
  • Partners with RAPM to investigate internal and external theft, fraud, and organized retail crime cases.
  • Acts as liaison between club leadership and local police department and community.
  • Communicates results of investigations and provides updates to leadership based upon facts of each case.
  • Conducts weekly CCTV review per the Asset Protection calendar.
  • Completes weekly data entry of inventory recoveries per the Asset Protection calendar.
  • Manages, reviews, and resolves losses identified through exception-based reporting and cash variances.
  • Maintains all club policies and procedures.
