About The Position
The Security Supervisor is responsible for security duties in the protection of life and property through crime prevention and enforcement of laws and policy. Supervisor duties range from periods of physical inactivity to situations requiring extreme physical exertion and exposure to danger. Supervisors must be able to act without immediate supervision and exercise independent judgment in meeting emergencies and provide leadership for other Security Team Members. Additionally, Security Supervisors are responsible for hiring, scheduling, and documentation for their respective team members. They also oversee a team of security guards and potentially other departments (e.g. parking lot attendants).
