The Security Supervisor is responsible for directing and managing all security operations for Trulieve at your assigned location. The Security Supervisor (SS) works to ensure that visitors and employees are provided a safe and secure environment and receive responsive and respectful assistance for their security needs. The SS proactively identifies public safety and security risks to Trulieve, its facilities, and employees, and implements security policies, procedures, training, and operations to address those risks and increase security awareness. The SS assists with managing and directing security contract service providers and ensures compliance with regulatory and contract requirements.

  • Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
  • Train subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures.
  • Plan security for special and high-risk events.
  • Project operating costs for security operations.
  • Order security-related supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies.
  • Assist in emergency management and contingency planning.
  • Arrange for or perform executive protection activities.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.
  • Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
  • Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
  • Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
  • Create or implement security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
  • Collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments.
  • Supervise subordinate security professionals, performing activities such as hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, or disciplining.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • BA degree or higher in related field of study.
  • 5+ years' experience in law enforcement.
  • 5+ years' experience as an administrator or manager.
  • Must have experience in training, creating training lesson plans and implementing training programs.
  • Must have experience documenting and securely maintaining training records for future recall.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and procedures.
  • Ability to properly investigate a situation and draw sound conclusions.
  • Must function independently, have flexibility, and personal integrity.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to respectfully and politely interact with customers and team members.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers to perform daily work.
  • Familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel and SharePoint.
  • Project management skills.
  • Preferred experience working in law enforcement and security management, loss prevention, data analytics, accurate use of computer-based software systems.
