About The Position
The Shift Supervisor functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The supervisor ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. In emergency situations, the supervisor notifies the proper authorities and the client. The role includes coaching and disciplining personnel, training Security Officers, and assisting in payroll submissions. The supervisor also prepares and submits various reports, inspects posts, and meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and quality customer service is provided. Additional supervisory duties may include interviewing, orienting, and training employees, planning and directing work, and addressing complaints. The supervisor may also perform the duties of a Security Officer as needed.
