Requirements

  • Demonstrate computer literacy is essential.
  • Proficiency in using software applications, navigating digital platforms, and troubleshooting technical issues is highly valued.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading) is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical abilities and can efficiently organize tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
  • A positive mindset and an eagerness to learn and adapt are highly valued.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and work shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively handle and document guest and employee incidents, including accidents, noise complaints, and any suspicious individuals on the premises.
  • Implement all security and safety policies and procedures to maintain a protective environment.
  • Take an active role in leading workplace health and safety trainings for hotel staff.
  • Assist hotel management in addressing unusual situations, from disorderly conduct to emergencies like fires, robberies, or medical incidents.
  • Take an active role in executing our Crisis Management Plan, including fire panel training and command post objectives.
  • Ensure officers are monitoring the Close Circuit Television (CCTV) system diligently to identify and address potential security threats.
  • Review recorded footage when necessary to investigate suspicious incidents.
  • Conduct uniform and equipment inspections during shift briefings to ensure readiness of officers.
  • Review and correct officer Incident Reports, Glitches and Daily Activity Reports (DARS) before final distribution.
  • Assist in preparing security surveys and safety risk assessments.
