About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee and manage security operations within the Orlando area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and supervision, along with expertise in surveillance and loss prevention. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of our staff and clients while maintaining a professional appearance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within security, law enforcement, or military settings.
• Certification in security management or related fields is preferred.
• Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance technologies.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team to ensure effective security measures are implemented.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify vulnerabilities and enforce safety protocols.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs for staff.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, or incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed for investigations or incidents requiring external assistance.
• Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and reports for review by management.
• Remain on-call during scheduled times to respond to incidents as needed.
