About The Position

Northeast Security is seeking Part Time Security Supervisors for our premier clients in Boston. The position offers a pay rate of $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. Security officer and supervisor schedules are available from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of security experience, with security supervisor experience preferred. Applicants must be able to pass a credit check, provide 5 years of previous work history, explain any gaps in history, and provide 10 years of housing history. Additional requirements include completing drug screening and fingerprinting. Recruiters will contact applicants to discuss preferences upon applying. The work schedule may include evenings, night shifts, and weekends/holidays as determined and scheduled annually.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 2-3 years of security experience.
  • Security supervisor experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a credit check, with no significant amount in collections.
  • Must provide 5 years of previous work history and explain gaps in history.
  • Must provide 10 years of housing history.
  • Must complete additional drug screening and fingerprinting.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service Experience preferred.
  • Previous security supervisor experience, or related field/education.

Responsibilities

  • Assure that all work schedules for regular and special assignments are designed to provide the service in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
  • Ensure that trained and qualified security personnel properly staff all posts.
  • Ensure that all security personnel are aware of and perform their duties in full compliance with the facility security operations procedures and location policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Review and approve all reports, duty logs, etc. submitted by security personnel.
  • Ensure timely notification of all serious incidents.
  • Maintain effective communications with all assigned security personnel.
  • Counsel, advise, motivate, and (when necessary) provide discipline and positive reinforcement to personnel assigned to the location.
  • Work with management in the development and implementation of sound employee relations, development, and retention programs for the location.
  • Ensure that assigned security personnel are kept up-to-date on any modifications to procedures, policies, or regulations.
  • Assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc.
