Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise Security Officers during assigned shifts, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to policies and procedures Uphold Caesars Entertainment’s service standards and core values Assign posts, monitor performance, and provide guidance and direction to security staff Respond to and manage incidents including disturbances, medical emergencies, evacuations, and guest complaints Prepare incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation accurately and timely Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring Security Officers Enforce company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Act as the point of contact for Security during assigned shifts in the absence of management Coordinate with Surveillance, Operations, and local law enforcement as needed Security Officer (Dual Rate) Responsibilities Patrol casino, hotel, and surrounding property to ensure safety and security Provide visible security presence and exceptional guest service Monitor access points and control entry when required Observe, detect, and report suspicious activity Respond to alarms, emergencies, and service calls Assist guests and employees in a courteous and professional manner All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”. Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and comply with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures. Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed. Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is compensated at a dual rate of pay, receiving: Supervisor rate when scheduled and performing supervisory duties Security Officer rate when scheduled and assigned Security Officer duties Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of security experience, preferably in a casino, hospitality, or similar environment Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-stress situations Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must meet all state, tribal, and gaming regulatory requirements Ability to obtain and maintain any required gaming license or security certification CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
