About The Position

The Security Specialist position at the Department of the Army involves supporting the Joint Intelligence Task Force South in Key West, FL. Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in a relevant field, or two years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing security clearance requests for Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) level investigations.
  • Advise management and employees on re-investigation requirements and maintenance of current clearances.
  • Prepare and disseminate local information security guidance based on higher-level directives and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and administration of security awareness training programs.
  • Administer the program for the continuous security evaluation of personnel.
