About The Position

Seeking to fill a Security Specialist position, to provide support to Missile Defense systems in a classified US Government facility on Redstone Arsenal. The candidate will work in a fast-paced team environment, and will possess strong communication skills. Duties will include: Manage the Air and Missile Defense Simulation Laboratory (AMDSL) classified network, as well as provide software updates to maintain an Information Assurance (IA) posture compliant with continuous monitoring principles in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) package. Also, shall provide technical expertise to integrate updated hardware and software technologies into the AMDSL. Provide administration support, to include but are not limited to: security, support for visit requests and building access, property transfers, lab management, material purchasing, shipment and transport of classified materials. Plan, track, and manage prime and subcontractor expenditures across all AMD active or planned contracts and tasks, including developing spend plans and accrual reports to provide to the customers. Attend meetings, make recommendations, draft and deliver documentation in support of the Government's project plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Arts or Science (BA / BS)
  • Top Secret Clearance required
  • 3+ years experience
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain appropriate security clearances
