About The Position

Security Specialist, Senior The Opportunity: Provide General Intelligence Security ( GIS ) oversight and support to the states, territories, and District of Columbia. Provide support services that support and enhance the ability to administer oversight and compliance pertaining to personnel security, information security, industrial security, communication security, foreign disclosure, and sen sit ive compartmented information programs. C ond uct development, planning, scheduling, coordinating, training, monitoring, and communication. Assist with sit e assistance vi sit s ( SAV ) .

Requirements

Experience in the Department of the Army or Army National Guard Information Security field, including e nga gement with senior leadership
Experience with Security Classification Guides ( SCG ) , the DoD Controlled Unclassified Information ( CUI ) Registry, and the Defense Technical Information Center ( DTIC ) for classification reviews
Experience with the implementation and oversight of the Security Education Training Awareness ( SETA ) program
Experience in security incident response, providing guidance, and assisting in resolution of security incidents and infractions
Experience in supporting the drafting of security Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs ) , policies , and military Memorandum of Records
Experience in advising on the physical and administrative requirements for Secret and Collateral Rooms, vaults, and containers
Experience in defining the requirements for classified briefings, trainings, meetings, and conferences
TS / SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting the federal government, the Intelligence Community ( IC ) , and the Department of Defense ( DoD )
Knowledge of Micro sof t ( MS ) applications, including MS Office and MS Project
