Akima Data Management (ADM) is seeking a dedicated Security Specialist Representative to join our team in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. As a part of our mission, we are committed to providing innovative cloud and IT services that enable mission dominance for our government customers while also supporting our shareholder communities in Alaska. The Security Specialist Representative will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive information and operations within a government environment. This position requires a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, particularly those related to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). The successful candidate will be responsible for administering security measures, managing access procedures, and supporting the overall security framework of the organization. In this role, you will be expected to complete the SCI or DIA-sponsored SSO Administration Course and possess knowledge of SSO requirements from applicable manuals, regulations, policies, and instructions. You will manage SCI access procedures, including the use of e-Qip, JPAS, and Scattered Castles, ensuring the accountability of Crypto material and key-loading equipment. Strong customer service skills are essential, as you will handle inquiries, complaints, and requests from various stakeholders. Additionally, you will research and analyze information from intelligence disciplines to identify potential threats and recommend appropriate courses of action. The Security Specialist Representative will also be responsible for developing briefings, documents, presentations, and reports, as well as supporting policy and procedure development for agency and interagency initiatives. You will identify gaps in current intelligence and prioritize collection requirements, performing both tactical and strategic analysis to assess proposed solutions and recommend plans. This position operates under direct supervision, handling basic issues and referring more complex matters to higher-level staff. A minimum of a High School Diploma and one year of experience working in a Government SCIF is required, along with a current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
