About The Position

The F-35 Joint Program Office (F-35 JPO) requires program security support services to support its critical mission of developing, deploying, and sustaining the next generation strike fighter aircraft. Mid-Level International Security Specialists are responsible for performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions and shall provide general security support performing activities related to security standard discipline management and support.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Experience with utilizing local databases, SharePoint, central archive, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoDM 5205.07 Volumes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705.
  • Ability to provide clear, concise, and accurate written and verbal communication.
  • Skill in satisfactorily dealing with customers.
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience performing work related to position description.
  • Bachelor's Degree in the stated discipline or 6 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
  • Or, Associate's Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provide CONUS and OCONUS International Security Support.
  • Provide multi-disciplined security guidance and mentorship to F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) security professionals
  • Provide continuous evaluation of F-35 Partner and FMS security posture and provide written updates to International Security Manager, Program Security Officer, and assigned International Security Specialist.
  • Assist F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals in developing country-unique security documents to ensure protection of F-35 assets at the appropriate level.
  • Develop and provide training to F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) security professionals to facilitate building, implementing, and managing a comprehensive F-35 security program.
  • Assist F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals in ensuring security policies and procedures are, in compliance with, Special Access Program (SAP), Classified Military Information (CMI), and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with U.S Government security requirements.
  • Provide general, physical, and cybersecurity support and training to F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) security professionals.
  • Provide security support at air shows, fighter competitions and other collaborative events.
  • Provide country map data.
  • Other duties as assigned.
