About The Position

This position is with the Department of Defense Education Activity's Security Management Division located at the Mark Center Building in Alexandria, VA. The role focuses on providing policy, procedures, and guidance on counterintelligence issues related to DoDEA, developing and managing the Insider Threat program, and representing the program in national level working groups.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience in developing and managing workflow and processes for an Insider Threat or Counterintelligence workgroup or hub.
  • Experience directing the work operations of an Insider Threat or Counterintelligence program for an organization or agency.
  • Experience briefing or presenting to senior leadership on Insider Threats or Counterintelligence events and/or trends.
  • Experience leading a security program for an organization or agency.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with security tools and methods.
  • Knowledge of vulnerabilities assessment and management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide policy, procedures, and guidance on all issues concerning counterintelligence as it relates to DoDEA.
  • Develop, monitor and evaluate the DoDEA Insider Threat program as a whole, including policy, planning, resources, operations, assessments, and training.
  • Write, staff, and coordinate Insider Threat program policy and implementation plans, ensuring integration in appropriate functional areas.
  • Develop risk assessment methodology and risk priorities to guide the production of insider threat referrals.
  • Represent and/or speak on behalf of the Counter Insider Threat program manager in national level working groups.
