About The Position

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Security Specialist II to provide support for our government customer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Security Specialist II ensures personnel, operations, facilities and company compliance with government security protocols. Additionally, the Security Specialist will support functional and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining alarm accounts.
  • Regularly changing combination and pin numbers, as well as record keeping.
  • Ability to operate Cypher door locks, Trilogy door locks, and multiple combination locks.
  • Initiate Visit Requests for guests from partner agencies.
  • Sponsor Base Access with Kirtland AFB Security Forces.
  • Assist new hires with on-site in-processing, coordinate with corporate security office and human resources office as required.
  • Conduct on-site orientation as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections as required and ensure compliance with on-site procedures and policies.
  • Develop and provide security training and instruction to staff to prevent compliance infractions.
  • Assist Departments as required, to include:
  • Locate, pull, mark/re-mark, and reshelve various media formats.
  • Photocopying unclassified/classified materials.
  • Other assistance as required, special projects or otherwise.
  • Interfacing with government agency security office, directorate office and external DoD and Non-DoD agencies.
  • Update and maintain records, such as receipts, accountability, and distribution of all classified documents.
  • Create and maintain security SOP's, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Escort staff, visitors, and other external parties as required.
  • Perform building closure/lockup as necessary.
  • Perform general office duties as necessitated, to include mail-outs and faxing. Including mailing of classified material in accordance with DoD regulations.
  • Maintaining OPSEC, PERSEC, PHYSEC, INFOSEC, and Cyber security programs in accordance with DoD and DTRA regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Executive Order 13526, DoDM 5200.01 Vol 1-4, and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
  • Compliance with PII and PHI handling protocols.
  • Conduct Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAM) inspections as directed by the agency counterintelligence office.
  • Other duties as assigned.
