About The Position

The Security Officer position at the hotel/casino is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel/casino complex, its employees, and guests. This role involves guarding the transfer of money and chips on the casino floor, operating the card and dice destruction room, and monitoring property entrances. The Security Officer will check for underage gamblers and coordinate any suspicious activities with security management. Additionally, the officer will conduct security investigations, complete reports using iTrak, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism. The position requires operating both digital and analog CCTV equipment and may involve manning the Security Command Post as needed. The officer is expected to demonstrate Family Style Service at all times and may perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year casino/hotel security experience required.
• Ability to handle all types of customer-related situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to investigate incidents and complete written reports as instructed.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Intellex.
• Keen observational skills.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification.
• Knowledge of the Casino Control Act and company policies and procedures.
