About The Position

This position is responsible for the safety and security of patients, visitors, employees and hospital property. Patrols hospital campus and buildings to deter thefts, vandalism and disturbances. Responds to security needs of Atrium Medical Center personnel and emergencies. Provides law enforcement support to Atrium Medical Center campus. Acts as Middletown Special Police Officer, sworn to support the United States, the State of Ohio and the laws of the State of Ohio and the Ordinances of the City of Middletown. State of Ohio and the Ordinances of the City of Middletown.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum 200 hours of Police training at an Ohio Peace Training Council accredited academy.
• Experience: Six months previous security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
• Skills/Other: Good written and oral communications and organizational skills. Some typing and computer experience required. Effective telephone skills.
