About The Position

The Crypto Services team at Apple is seeking software engineers to enhance the security of applications and systems through cryptographic services. This role involves collaborating with product management and engineering teams to design, implement, and deliver high-volume, low-latency, fault-tolerant security solutions that protect sensitive data across critical business functions.

Requirements

• 1 year of software development experience (Java, C++, etc.)
• 1 year of experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
• 1 year of experience with modern CI/CD tooling and build systems
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a similar field.

Nice To Haves

• Solid understanding and application of computer science fundamentals
• Experience building, orchestrating, and deploying highly scalable REST-based APIs
• Knowledge of PKI fundamentals and applied cryptography
• Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL database technology
• Understanding of performance testing concepts and tools
• Knowledge of applied security concepts (authentication, authorization, OWASP Top 10 Risks, etc.)
