About The Position

This position functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations. The role includes coaching and disciplining personnel, training Security Officers, and ensuring adequate coverage of all posts and positions.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
  • Standard computer / technology skills needed.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
  • Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • 2-5 years of prior security, military, law enforcement and/or management experience.
  • Driver certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation.

Responsibilities

  • Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s).
  • Acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed.
  • Notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
  • Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate.
  • Trains Security Officers and other company personnel.
  • Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
  • Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
  • Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
  • Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
  • Meets with client representatives to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met.
  • Carries out supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.
