Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Shift Security Supervisor! PLANO, TX Duty Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday thru Froday ( Off - Saturday & Sunday ) Pay: $23.00 hourly The site is a Headquaters location, and will require the hightest level of professionalism, customer service, and high quality candidates with excellent work ethics. Required to have previous experience in security or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Join our team as a Shift Supervisor and lead security operations with your proven expertise. We're looking for a seasoned professional with 3+ years of security, law enforcement, or military experience who excels at training teams, managing technology systems, and maintaining operational excellence under pressure. Must hold a valid Texas Security Guard License and bring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to this critical role.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Proficient in Lenel Access Control, X-Protect – Milestone, and Perspective Reporting Systems.
Demonstrated ability to train others in report writing, including the 5 W’s and reflection report completion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional presentation abilities.
Proven ability to remain calm, composed, and effective during high-pressure and emergency situations.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to documentation and accuracy.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by site operations.
Must pass Toyota and Marksman background checks and maintain compliance with all site and client requirements.
Valid driver’s license.
Valid Texas Security Guard License

Nice To Haves

With 1 year in a supervisory or command role preferred.
With six months of experience in a SOC or GSOC setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead security personnel during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to post orders, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and operate security systems including Lenel Access Control, X-Protect – Milestone, and Perspective Reporting Systems to maintain site security and safety.
Train and mentor security officers in professional report writing, emphasizing the 5 W's (Who, What, When, Where, Why) and accurate reflection report completion.
Respond to and manage emergency situations, incidents, and alarms with composure and effectiveness while coordinating appropriate resources.
Conduct regular inspections of security posts and personnel to ensure compliance with Toyota and Marksman standards and client requirements.
Prepare detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and maintain accurate records with meticulous attention to detail.
Communicate effectively with site management, clients, and team members through written reports and professional verbal presentations.
Coordinate shift activities and staffing to ensure continuous coverage and operational readiness across all security functions.
Serve as primary point of contact for Security Operations Center (SOC/GSOC) communications and escalations during assigned shifts.
Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to support 24/7 security operations.
