Oversee all activities within the Security department as well as monitor all casino related activities for regulation and company policy compliance. The Security Shift Supervisor ensures that compliance with company standards and tribal gaming regulations by monitoring all departments, and reports incidents to the appropriate departmental supervisors and/or directors. He/she must be knowledgeable of all casino operations and internal controls. He/she will make certain that all equipment in the security department is serviced and maintained on a regular basis. He/she is responsible for forms, inventory, and proper dispersion of forms. They will also perform Security or Access Guard duties when required. The Security Shift Supervisor will assist in establishing operational procedures for activities such as traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orientation and monitoring of personnel involved with classified information and investigations and will also assist in activities of workers involved in safety programs. Observes workers in performance of duties to evaluate efficiency and to detect and correct inefficient work practices. He/she will perform internal and external perimeter checks per shift and must be able to work rotating shifts on a weekly basis. Will monitor the drop in accordance with slot drop procedures The Security Shift Supervisor will also perform other duties as assigned by the Security Director. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
