About The Position

Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor. The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age to qualify.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
  • Must have 2 years of prior Security Experience and Supervisory Experience
  • Must be comfortable using computers or tablet devices
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Must have clean MVR
  • No Visible Tattoos
  • No Facial Piercings

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Access control: Monitoring and controlling entry points to Amazon offices and facilities, checking employee badges, and managing visitor access.
  • Surveillance: Operating security cameras and monitoring systems to detect anysuspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Patrolling: Conducting regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of employeesand property.
  • Emergency response: Being prepared to respond to various emergencies, such as fires,medical situations, or security threats.
  • Reporting: Documenting incidents, maintaining logs, and reporting any securityconcerns to management.
  • Enforcing policies: Ensuring compliance with company security policies andprocedures.
  • Screening: Conducting security screenings of personnel and packages entering thefacilities.
  • Liaison with law enforcement: Cooperating with local law enforcement agencies whennecessary.
  • Technology management: Operating and monitoring electronic security systems.
  • Customer service: Providing assistance and information to employees and visitors in aprofessional manner.
  • Asset protection: Safeguarding company assets, including intellectual property andphysical equipment.
  • Training and drills: Participating in regular security training and emergency drills.
