Requirements

Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.
Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
Adherence to Code of Conduct and all Calder Casino policies and procedures.
Maintain and promote our business strategy of Clean, Safe, Compliant, Engagement, Service, and EBITDA.
Maintain an open-door policy for Team Members to allow open communication.
Exhibit advanced knowledge and understanding of the property’s Emergency Response and Disaster Plans.
Exhibit advanced knowledge and understanding of the KeyWatcher system and software.
Exhibit advanced knowledge and understanding of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and regulations as well as company internal controls, policies, and procedure.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the shift.
Ability to deescalate conflict and provide conflict resolution.
One to Three years’ experience in security, law enforcement, and/or casino/hotel security.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
Valid FL Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience preferred.
CPR / AED Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists Shift Manager in daily security team operations.
Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and customers.
Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
Ensures all visitors, vendors and contractors are logged and accounted for while on property.
Delegates duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
Responsible for key control and inventory for all sensitive keys.
Responds to activated alarms for emergency situations such as fire, floor / power outages, and door security concerns or breaches.
Respond, evaluate, provide first aid, and notify emergency medical services to guest and team members that require in a medical crisis.
Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting
Schedule rotation of officers throughout officer posts.
Assists in the performance management process by contributing to the documentation and delivery of performance reviews.
Assist in development of Team Members, conducts interviews, and participates in the selection, hiring, coaching, retention, and termination process.
Conduct training with officers.
May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid driver’s license.
Other duties as assigned.
