About The Position

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Security Shift Supervisor to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights. The Security Shift Supervisor conducts unarmed patrols (interior and/or exterior), controls facility access and egress, monitors closed circuit televisions and alarm systems, composes reports, deters criminal activity and misconduct, and performs other duties as specified by the client. The Security Shift Supervisor is trained to work on all posts at the assigned site location and is available to work all shifts and oversee the security officers of those posts. The Data Center Security Shift Supervisor facilitates a pleasant experience for our client and their customers through interactions. Customer Service is primary.

Requirements

• Current state-issued guard card.
• High school diploma or appropriate level of training per local jurisdictions.
• Ability to speak fluent English.
• Experience in customer service-related fields.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with tact, professionalism, and respect.
• Computer literacy with experience within the Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic CPR/AED/First Aid or BHV equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Clients may require Unarmed Security Officer license as part of SOW.
• Data Center experience.
• Construction site security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of surroundings to promote physical security and safety; watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Observe and report suspicious activity.
• Provide access control for gates ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted.
• Manage traffic flow at gates to ensure no disruption in business operations.
• Maintain access log.
• Monitor cameras after normal working hours.
• Notify DPR personnel of any issues.
• Contribute to communication and awareness of security policies and issues as needed.
• Distribute and enforce on site and global standard operating procedures down to the individual level.
• Assist and train new staff on all security systems, SOPs, patrols, post orders, etiquette, and customer service as a member of the security team.
• Ensure Client and Company policies are followed.
• Support Daily Tasking and Activities.
• 100% completion of log and report write-ups.
• Perform to the best of your abilities to meet KPIs outlined by the Site Lead.
• Oversee the Site Security Officers, enforce disciplinary measures in accordance with Salute HR policy.
