About The Position

Allied Universal is Hiring a Security Officer to work at a Transportation Site located in San Jose, Ca! The Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Active CA Guard Card.
• Security experience of 1 or more years.
• Intermediate to advanced technology skills.
• Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience (if applicable).
• Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months).
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff on assigned shift.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
