We're hiring a Security Shift Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll supervise and direct security staff to help ensure effective and efficient security operations. Additionally, you'll: Serve as a leader for employees while encouraging teamwork, employee morale, motivation, and open communication. Instruct, train, and monitor officers in their daily duties including customer and employee relations, report writing, handling company funds, and critical incident management. Monitor incident reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Initiate investigation processes cooperating with law enforcement agencies as appropriate. Supervise, train, and coordinate staff to ensure compliance with all MotorCity policies and regulations. Provide exceptional service to all guests. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements

  • Two years of security experience (or other alternative deemed appropriate).
  • Three years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an occupational license with the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
