About The Position

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of security supervisory experience (gaming industry preferred).
  • Valid driver's license required and must meet the requirements of company Motor Vehicle Policy.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
  • High School Diploma Required.

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.
  • Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.
  • Conducts interviews with employee candidates.
  • Recommends, documents and issues discipline.
  • Responsible for supervision, training and evaluation of staff.
  • Responsible for schedules and daily assignments to security staff as required.
  • Responsible for reviewing and submitting all shift paperwork.
  • Communicates all policy and procedure changes, special events and other activities to security staff.
  • Supervises and conducts investigations as requested.
  • Responsible for compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and company Policies & Procedures.
  • Responsible for positive interactions with Maryland State Lottery Agency, Local Law Enforcement Agencies and other state agencies.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
