About The Position

Security Shift Manager – Omaha Pay: $25.69/hour Schedule: Swing Shift SUMMARY DESCRIPTION The Security Shift Manager oversees the daily operations of the Security Department to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and company assets. This role supports the property’s established policies, procedures, and service standards while leading security operations with professionalism and accountability.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years of casino security experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License .
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

Nice To Haves

  • Casino resort experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
  • Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating security operations and coordinating departmental programs.
  • Ensures timely completion and submission of all security reports.
  • Assigns Security Officers to posts based on job requirements, skill sets, and experience.
  • Observes staff performance to evaluate efficiency and correct improper work practices.
  • Ensures all company rules, policies, and applicable laws/regulations are firmly and fairly enforced.
  • Leads and oversees investigations.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, Tribal, and company regulations.
  • Implements departmental procedures and trains, schedules, supervises, and evaluates officers on assigned shift.
  • Identifies risks and threats to property, guests, and team members and takes proactive measures to address them.
  • Patrols property to identify potential security or safety concerns.
  • Supports the protection and safety of guests, team members, and all facilities.
  • Helps maintain proper staffing levels; assists in interviewing, training, coaching, evaluation, and discipline of team members.
  • Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, and other personnel processes are followed.
  • Facilitates the performance review process within the department.
  • Detains individuals when probable cause exists, notifying law enforcement and/or gaming officials when appropriate.
  • Controls and maintains company-wide key systems during assigned shift.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
