About The Position

With our rapid projected expansion, the Live! Casino & Hotel Brand is searching for the right talent to grow with the organization and help drive our future success. The Security Shift Manager is responsible for the overall management of the shift, and personnel which provides security, and a safe environment while ensuring protection of guests, team members and Live! assets.

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in a casino environment.
• Four (4) year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.

Responsibilities

• Manages programs, processes and procedures which ensures the protection of the assets of Maryland Live to include the safety and security of guests and team members.
• Manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
• Communicate and implement department procedures in accordance with director and internal controls.
• Assist in development and implementation of Security Department training.
• Investigate incidents and/or guest complaints, compiling data for accurate reports to the Gaming Commission and department heads.
• Completes and investigates first report on injury.
• Provides input and assists with the preparation of performance reviews of supervisors and officers.
• Other duties as assigned.
