About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing and servicing IP-based security systems in commercial and industrial environments. Responsibilities include installation of access control systems, electronic door and lock hardware, cable running, and terminations. Candidates should be self-motivated, maintain a professional appearance, and communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues. During the contractual basis - candidate will be utilizing their own vehicle. This position is NOT on one site - but responding to clients install or service calls. Clients are located throughout the Dallas market. Typically, health care facilities. There is the option of driving own vehicle to sites OR driving to the office/warehouse and getting in the van with a lead technician.

Requirements

Installation and servicing of CCTV systems
Installation and servicing of Card Access systems
Installation and servicing of Burglar/Fire Alarm systems
Strong construction knowledge
Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to operate hand and power tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and install/service security devices
Clear communication with customers and team members
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights (12–32 feet or higher using man lifts)
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
Ability to recognize and identify colors
Dependable and punctual attendance
Ability to work full-time schedule and overtime as needed
Available for travel, including nights and weekends
Required to wear company uniform and maintain a neat appearance
