Convergint is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Security Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and supporting existing customers by responding to service calls, executing Customer Support Programs, and managing small project business. As a Security Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Convergint remains the customer's first choice for service. Your primary responsibilities will include responding to routine and non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency service calls. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts, as well as debug systems for routine problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing projects as necessary and completing accurate and detailed service reports for both customers and Convergint to facilitate accurate invoicing and job cost tracking. Your ability to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software will be essential to your success in this role.
