About The Position

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!) Troubleshoot and repair electronic security systems including: Access control (Lenel, CCURE, Brivo, Feenics, Salto, Blubox) Video surveillance (Verkada, Eagle Eye, Milestone, etc.) Intrusion detection and door hardware (readers, contacts, strikes, maglocks) Program and configure systems using manufacturer software and laptop tools. Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues related to security devices. Perform system testing and verification to ensure full operational functionality. Document service activities, system status, and repair outcomes for customer records and billing. Maintain integrity of cabling, power supplies, and device configurations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians. Manage service vehicle inventory and ensure tools are maintained and calibrated. Collaborate with project managers and service coordinators to meet customer expectations. WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU 3+ years of experience servicing electronic security systems. Proficient in troubleshooting low-voltage circuits, including opens, shorts, and ground faults. Familiarity with IP networking, PoE switches, and device addressing. Experience with access control and video management software platforms. Ability to read and interpret system design drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong understanding of door hardware and physical security components. Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. OSHA 10 Certification or ability to obtain. Manufacturer certifications (Lenel, CCURE, Verkada, Salto, etc.) preferred. Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills. Customer-focused with a proactive approach to issue resolution. Physically fit to perform field work: lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working from heights. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience servicing electronic security systems.
