About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a qualified professional to serve as Security Service Support in direct support of critical government security operations at Delta 9. The Security Service Support professional will provide direct assistance to the Government Security Office in the execution of daily security functions. Responsibilities include visitor control management, access control processing, badge and credential accountability, coordination of secure facility entry requirements, and support of collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) compliance activities. This role requires a strong understanding of DoD security protocols, the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and demonstrated experience operating within classified environments. The selected candidate must possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a high-tempo, secure setting.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • 5+ years of program security experience within a SAP mission area or highly classified SCIF/SAPF environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting classified access programs, with a strong record of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex security requirements to diverse stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and capable of operating independently, exercising sound judgment with minimal oversight
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure operational continuity and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Delta 9 visitor control program, including processing and validating visitor access requests
  • Draft, update, and enforce entry and exit inspection procedures in accordance with SAP and collateral security requirements
  • Manage and safeguard classified containers and materials within Delta 9 facilities, ensuring full compliance with established handling procedures
  • Process Program Access Requests (PARs) and maintain accurate program access databases
  • Conduct security briefings and debriefings, and perform related administrative actions to ensure strict adherence to security protocols
