About The Position
The Security Sergeant - Operations Specialist reports to the Security Captain to support the Security Department at Touro University Nevada. The Security Sergeant - Operations Specialist will assist the Security Captain with supervising the Security Officers, overseeing security operations, and administrative support for the Security Department. The Security Sergeant - Operations Specialist will be a primary point of contact for internal and external customers. The Security Sergeant - Operations Specialist is responsible for providing physical security to employees, students, guests, campus property, and equipment through adherence to department procedures and policies. In addition to supervisory duties, the Security Sergeant - Operations Specialist may perform Security Officer duties. Located in Henderson, Nevada, approximately twenty-five minutes from the iconic Las Vegas strip, Touro University Nevada is a non-profit medical, health sciences, and education graduate university focused on positively impacting our community in healthcare and education.
