About The Position

The position is responsible for supervising Security Officers, EMT's, and Corporals on the assigned shift, ensuring the safety of guests and Team Members, and protecting the assets of the company and the entire facility. The role requires maintaining close surveillance of all assigned non-gaming areas of the property and performing excellent customer service at all times. The individual will interact with the public and Team Members, adhere to rules and regulations, and provide protection for the Casino and its guests. Responsibilities include guarding transfers of money and chips, maintaining communication with the Director of Security, and monitoring all areas of the property for potential security risks.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Security Officer in gaming preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Security Corporal at Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of and experience with closed circuit television equipment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must be flexible in hours, day, and shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Security Officers, EMT's, and Corporals on assigned shift.
• Ensures proper execution of assigned duties.
• Adheres to all rules and regulations, policies, and orders.
• Provides protection for the Casino and all Team Members and guests.
• Guards all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor.
• Maintains effective communications with the Director of Security.
• Interacts with guests and Team Members in a professional manner.
• Monitors traffic control and parking areas.
• Identifies potential security and/or safety risks.
• Utilizes necessary equipment to document and report illegal activities.
• Performs regular duties as a Security Sergeant when not in the Surveillance Room.
• Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.
